If you don't already have gates, I strongly recommend the wooden ones by Evenflo "Secure Solutions" that screw-mount into the wall studs. They are sturdy enough for toddler triplets to cling to and rattle, but they never failed us in 3 years of use. And they are safe for stairs as well as room openings. There is a standard one and a gate for wider openings that worked for our living room.

It is an amazing journey you are on and I am so happy to be able to share via-internet your experiences (good and bad). Sometimes it's good to find out what we are made of. Remember God will not put any more on us than we can bear (sometimes I think, God must really think a lot of me) "smile". I pray for you always for your continued health and success.
