my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

That poem is so beautiful -- it always make me cry, this time thinking of the love that you share with your daughters. You probably don't have time to go to the movies all that often (ever?) but there is a very touching scene in "In Her Shoes" in which this poem is read and I cried watching that too.
I just saw the movie just recently and cried when the poem was read (for reasons you know well)and as I read it again in reference to you and the girls I cried once more.
Love and an extra hug,
Mamma Jules
Simply Beautiful!
Unbelieveably beautiful. The girls are gorgeous...so alive.
And the poem...so moving.
Thanks for sharing, Billie.
The poem reaches the depth of what it means to be a mother watching the growth of her children. So true that we are never without the hearts of our children. So true. Your family is in our thoughts more than you could ever know. Much love, Jess
