This was the third Thanksgiving in a row that we have spent at home. Before kids, John and I would go to my Grandma's in the afternoon, and to John's Aunt's in the evening. We would stuff ourselves with turkey and lots of yummy food, and spend time with our extended family, that we don't see but two or three times a year.
We had planned on bringing the girls to their first Thanksgiving parties this year, but alas, we are all still sick. So, I am feeling down, and we didn't have the Thanksgiving I was hoping for.
On the bright side, these pictures serve as a reminder of all that I have to be thankful for. I have a LOT to be thankful for.

I am so sorry that you did not have the day you had hoped for. I know it must be frustrating, it seems at times that we can never escape preemie-dom! However, just as you are thankful for your beautiful girls, I know they are thankful for you. I hope next year will be the Thanksgiving you've been dreaming of. I am crossing my fingers that this year's Christmas will make up for yesterday!
My son loves shredding toilet paper too! And yes, I take pictures of it too. Hee hee! :)
Just as you have a lot to be thankful for so do I. I am thankful to have you for a best friend (and John for my best "guy" friend), and that I get to be Auntie to your two precious girls. You will have many Thanksgivings to come that you can share with your extended family, but I hope you enjoyed the one with John and the girls just as much! Hope you are all feeling 100% soon. Luv Ya Liz
We didn't do anything much on Thanksgiving day either...I hope that next year noone is sick, and you can go back to your usual family activities. Hopefully you are all well soon.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
