We're home! And one day earlier than my estimation, which certainly makes life a little easier. It happened kind of suddenly. Most of yesterday I would have told you "no way" would she be coming home today. But last night she had a little turn around and was satting 98 while sleeping on oxygen, so John and I hatched a plan and I started turning her oxygen down a little at a time until I finally turned it off around 12:30am last night. I let the nurse know, and Holl was able to sleep all night on room air without dropping her sats too low. Today she is perky and back to herself, sounding pretty great, and once again we are all happy to be home.
Thanks for all the positive thoughts, well wishes, good vibes, prayers, and support!
Now back to our regularly scheduled program.

Hi Billie - I am so glad you are all home and it was a shorter visit than expected. Yay for stronger immune systems! Sorry you all had to go through that.
yippeeee! hugs to everyone! love, donna, tim, ju-ju, and z
So Glad the girls have turned around and are their way to recovery.
Unfortunately RSV can affect micropremmies through to full term children alike and I think is every mothers dread. I know it is here in Australia.
I know when we send our Chronic Lung babies if they happen to still be in the Nursery at
3 months corrected age to the paediatric hospital it is our biggest dread especially in the winter months that they catch RSV.
We seem to be very lucky here in Western Australia, despite our large numbers of very tiny very immature prems, for example we have babies under 500 grams and 23 weekers and 24 weekers by the dozen and we would be unlucky if about 2 or 3 may end up going home on Oxygen at all, infact the majority of all our Prems would go home around about their due date plus or minus 2 weeks either side.
Take Care and hope all oes well.
Thinking of you and checking here everyday.
Lots of Love Carolynn xxxxx :-)
Glad to hear the good news! Now back to school for everyone :)
Love ya!

So good to hear!!
Very glad to hear they are better. Best wishes.
Wonderful news! Way to beat that horrible virus! Sending you germ-free good wishes for a happy and healthy spring.
My goodness, I don't have time to read for a couple of weeks and then you print a novel!
I'm so glad the girls are both home and doing better. It must have been a pretty sucky time for you and Jon.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the picture of Eden SITTING ON A BENCH! WHat a girl! You must be so proud of them both.
So YEAH for being well and coming home! And YEAH for the fabulous work that both Holland and Eden are doing. I read your post about depression, unfortunately deep in the darkness of that myself but seeing the girls grow and progress always cheers me up.
Horray! So glad the girls are home and back in good enough spirits to try to lick each other like dogs:) Here's to a speedy end to flu/RSV season!!!
