E Needs a New Bike!!
E is a bike-riding super star and we were so lucky to have a bike donated to us from another family back when she was 5. She put a lot of miles on that bike, and had so much fun. Unfortunately (fortunately?) she has grown SO MUCH over the past couple of years and has physically outgrown that bike. She has also outgrown it in a mature, pre-adolescent manner as well, and is need of a bigger, cooler, faster, set of wheels. These adaptive bikes are obscenely expensive and well out of our price range. We have entered E into the "Great Bike Giveaway" and are really hoping to win a bike for her! Not only is it amazing exercise, it also allows her to participate with her sisters and friends hanging out, riding bikes in the neighborhood.
Please click here and help E win a bike!

Billie- I haven't been on here in so long! It is so neat to see how well the girls are doing and how big they are now! Beautiful in every way! Crew grew out of his bike and we were able to pick up a used one from Shriners Hospital. I hope you Eden wins the bike contest!!!
I posted a link on my Facebook....I hope you don't mind. Been following your story for a few years now. So glad to see how well the girls are doing!
I haven't checked in here in a while. I can't believe how grownup Eden looks!!! I hope you won!
Any chance of getting an update blog? I take no news as good news, but to be super selfish, I've been following your blog since it's early years and it's hard going so long without word from your lovely family!
Good luck!!
Shayla
This link is for Australia for Freedom Wheels - a program running in each state. It is run by volunteers who normally have an engineering, carpentry or similar background and aim to find or design equipment solutions for people with disabilities. As they modify typical equipment, it is normally much cheaper than disability equipment. Maybe there is a similar program in the US, or maybe Freedom wheels could provide their design for someone to make locally for you?
